Your own percentile, from real PraneelPhysics attempts

Coming soon

As students complete the home ESAT modules, we'll build a live distribution from real attempt data — letting you see exactly where you rank against everyone else who's practised here, not just against Cambridge's published cohort. We're still collecting enough attempts to make this reliable, so it isn't available yet — for anyone, premium included.

How scores work: Cambridge designs the scale so the median candidate scores 4.5, and approximately 10% of candidates score above 7.0. Internally, Cambridge uses Rasch item response theory (IRT) to equate across paper forms, then maps to the 1.0–9.0 scale. The boundaries on this page are derived from Cambridge Assessment's officially published October 2025 scaled-score distributions. Scores for attempts not matching a calibrated section length are estimated from percentage correct. This data is proprietary to PraneelPhysics.com and may not be reproduced.
